To be awarded to Indigenous students studying Full time at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need and Ontario residency. Individual bursaries will vary in value depending on the need of the candidate. Aboriginal students enrolled in the Transitional Year Programme, undergraduate and graduate level programs and second entry studies will all be eligible to apply. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate a contribution to the Aboriginal community through volunteerism and involvement with First Nations House and/or Native Student?s Association.

Lillian Waddell Admission Scholarship

To be awarded on the basis of academic standing and financial need to a student entering a degree course in the Faculty of Arts and Science and registering at New College.

Lillian Waddell In-Course Scholarship

To be awarded on the basis of academic standing and financial need to a student registered in New College entering the second or higher year of a degree course in the Faculty of Arts and Science. Students are automatically considered for this award in September, based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session.
