MacPherson Scholarship UTAPS
This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at New College on the basis of financial need and academic standing. Preference is given to students enrolled in the Commerce program.
Madeline Lake Turnbull Fellowship
The Madeline Lake Turnbull Fellowship is the bequest of Madeline Turnbull (UC 1929). Of the value of the annual income from the fund, this award shall go to an outstanding student who is going on to do graduate work in French or who will have French as an important part of his or her course of study.
Magdalena Gryc Award
To be awarded to a student entering their fourth year in the Criminology and Sociolegal Studies Program at the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a student enrolled in the Criminology Major or Specialist Program. Minimum CGPA requirement is 3.5.
Major F. A. Tilston, V.C., Scholarship
The graduating class of 1929 established an annual award in honour of Major F.A. Tilston, V.C., a member of the class. The award is given to a Fourth Year student who achieves academic excellence over all four years of the Doctor of Pharmacy program and has not received an award of greater value.
Major J D Stewart Veterans Bursary
To be awarded to one or more students enrolled in Woodsworth College who demonstrate financial need with preference given to students with a background of service in any of Her Majesty???s Forces.
Malcolm Stewart Smith and Leonore Fraser Smith Bursary
Normally two awards per year with a value approximately equal to the academic fees for the winter session in which it is held. The awards are to go to the University College students deemed most needy by the Scholarship & Bursary Committee, provided they have made academic progress sufficient to satisfy the Committee that they would be worthy recipients. Awarded, after consultation with the Director of Peace & Conflict Studies, to a student with the best performance in PCJ260Y, Introduction to Peace & Conflict Studies.
Man Chow Poon Scholarships in Commerce
Awarded to students enrolled in the Rotman Commerce Program on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
Manuel A. Fine Scholarship
Awarded to a student proceeding to Third or Fourth Year (Full time) of Civil Engineering on the basis of strong academic achievement and a demonstrated interest in construction as evidenced by their focus of study, extra-curricular activities and/or summer employment.
