Ruth M Bentley Scholarship III

Awarded to a Victoria College student achieving excellence in the course of his or her studies in Third Year.

Ruth Reiffenstein Memorial Scholarship

To be awarded to New College students, Full time or part-time, on the basis of financial need. Academic achievement will be a consideration. Must also adhere to conditions of OSOTF. Students are automatically considered for this award in September, based on academic results from the previous fall/winter session.

Ruth Segal Memorial Award

This award was established by friends and colleagues of Ruth Segal to honour her memory. It will be presented to the student enrolled in the Third Year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program who obtains the highest standing in PHM386H1 Mental Health and Addiction.

Ryn Pudden Memorial Award

Awarded to a female student in Engineering Science who demonstrates financial need. Preference will be given to a student who is proceeding to the Third Year of the Aerospace Option and is involved in extra-curricular activities (e.g. music, student council, athletics).

S Bernard Chandler Scholarship in Italian Studies

Awarded to a second-year undergraduate student in the Department of Italian Studies on the basis of academic merit. Financial need may also be considered.

S Haberer Energy Systems Scholarship in Engineering Science

Awarded to a Full time student proceeding to Third or Fourth Year of Engineering Science whose academic focus relates to Energy Systems. Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic standing. Participation in extra-curricular activities, including summer employment and PEY Co-Op related to energy systems will also be considered.

S. G. Bridgman Prize

The S. G. Bridgman Prize was established in memory of Shaun Bridgman who died in 1973 while an undergraduate in the Faculty, and is donated by the Dental Students' Society. A permanent plaque is engraved with the names of winners, each of whom receives a replica. It is awarded annually to the most deserving student in Second Year Dentistry on the basis of extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities and scholastic attainment. First awarded in 1974.

S. Kennedy, T. Francis, A. Howe Reeve Award in Nutritional Sciences

Awarded to a student, full-or- part-time, who has completed third year of the program with an annual average of ???A??? and who has demonstrated general proficiency in Third Year courses in Nutritional Sciences.

S. Ubakata Fund for Japanese Students

The candidate must: be a Japanese subject from Japan proper; be registered in the University of Toronto devoting Full time to his or her studies; be able to satisfy admission requirements respecting English facility; not be holding other financial aid.

S.J. Budden Award UTAPS
