George I. Puro Memorial Award
e George I. Puro Memorial Award is awarded to the student in the Doctor of Pharmacy program who obtains at least Second Class Honours at the annual examinations of the First Year, and who obtains the highest total grades in Health Systems (PHM110H1) and Social and Behavioural Health (PHM114H1)
George Luckyj Prize
Awarded to an undergraduate (enrolled in a 200, 300, or 400 level course) or a graduate student who has obtained the highest standing (at least an A) in an undergraduate or graduate course in Ukrainian Literature. Preference will be given to a student who has achieved an overall standing of A.
George Luste (In Program) Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student in the Department of Physics upon completion of second or third year on the basis of financial need and academic merit.
George Luste CAP Prize Exam Award
Awarded to students in the Faculty of Arts and Science who have scored in the top 10 nationally on the Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) Prize exam.
George Luste Prize in 1st Year Physics
To be awarded to the students who has achieved the highest mark in PHY132H1 and/or PHY152H1
George Luste Prize in Biological Physics
To be awarded to the top student in the Biological Physics specialist program, with preference for a student who just completed third year.
George Mandler Research Fund (in the Department of Psychology)
Awarded to students undertaking initiatives in the Department of Psychology. Initiatives could include, but are not limited to the 4th year theses project; laboratory internships; attendance at relevant conference and/or others as appropriate. Awards will be made on the basis of academic merit and financial need may also be considered. Please contact the Department for an application.
George Roderick Fraser Admission Scholarship
Bequest of Verna Pearl Fraser in memory of her late husband, George Roderick Fraser (UC 1928). For outstanding students entering University College intending to pursue mathematical studies, who come from Ontario schools outside ???Metropolitan Toronto???. The award value is $3,000 and is renewable up to 3 times for a total possible value of $12,000.
George Roderick Fraser Scholarship
Awarded to outstanding students entering University College from Ontario secondary schools outside Metro who are intending to pursue Mathematical studies, Mathematics & Physics or Actuarial Sciences.
