Scholarships are typically awarded based on academic or other achievements and do not require repayment, making them a valuable resource for students seeking financial support for their education.

Jan Walter Szymaszek Chemical Engineering Award UTAPS

Jane Austen Society of North America - Toronto Chapter Scholarship

Awarded to students in the Department of English who demonstrate academic merit (B+ GPA) and financial need. Preference will be given to students who have taken courses related to major 18th and 19th century British authors, including Jane Austen.

Jane Bancroft Scholarship

Awarded to a student who is entering third or fourth year in a Major or Specialist Programme in French on the basis of outstanding achievement in French studies. A minimum of four full course equivalents in French must be completed.

Jane Elizabeth Ham Memorial Scholarship

Jane Elizabeth Ham Memorial Scholarship (OSOTF)

Awarded to a student entering first year of any undergraduate program in the Faculty on the basis of financial need and outstanding academic achievement. Range of personal interests is relevant. The award is renewable for the Second Year, provided honours standing is achieved in First Year.

Jane Goodall Scholarship

Awarded to one or more outstanding students enrolled in a program offered by the Centre for Environment. Preference will be given to students who are focusing on studies of environment and development. However, this preference does not preclude other environmental students from being eligible. Please contact the Department for an application.

Jane Joy Memorial Scholarship: Excellence in Environmental Sustainability

Awarded to an undergraduate student Specializing or Majoring in Science Programs through the School of the Environment. Consideration will be given to students who have demonstrated involvement in sustainability issues. Recipients must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need as determined by OTSS guidelines. The award was established by the University of Toronto Women???s Association (https://uawc.artsci.utoronto.ca/)

Jane McAdams Perron Scholarship

Ontario Deadline: Not available Full time
To assist students in any discipline to travel to France or any francophone country or province in connection with his or her studies. First preference for a student from University College; if no such suitable candidate is available, the award may be used to assist a student from any college who is enrolled in a program sponsored by the French Department. Students who have just completed their undergraduate studies are eligible, as well as those in the midst of their studies. Should there be no suitable candidates available in any given year a portion of the funds may be used to assist University College students with travel to present papers at a scholarly conference. Awards will vary in number and value.

Awarded to Full time undergraduate students, in their third year, registered in the Faculty of Arts and Science, St. George campus, who have demonstrated financial need.

Jane Trombley Undergraduate Scholarship

To be awarded to an undergraduate student(s) with financial need who has completed the Millie Rotman Shime Academic Bridging Program in Woodsworth College. Preference will be given to students who are not eligible for the Ontario Student Assistance Program and who are taking religion courses or pursuing a program in the Department for the Study of Religion.
