John Richard Luke Engineering Scholarship for Women

To be awarded to an undergraduate female student in Engineering with a demonstrated interest in healthcare engineering. This interest can be demonstrated in many ways, such as but not limited to, pursuing a major in Biomedical Engineering Systems, a minor in Bioengineering or other demonstrated involvement related to healthcare. First preference will be given to Black or Indigenous students. Secondary preference will be given to students from Oshawa. Academic merit will also be considered.

John Trick and Susan Treble Trick Scholaship

Awarded to an Emmanuel College student who is a candidate for ordination (candidacy pathway) in The United Church of Canada to aid the student in completing the MDiv degree. The recipient must achieve an A standing and live in Victoria University residence.

John W Browne Admission OSOTF Award

To be awarded to an undergraduate student entering first-year studies in Arts and Science at Innis College. Awarded on the basis of financial need to an Ontario resident. Preference will be given to students who, by their leadership, have contributed to the life of their high school and/or community.

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Arts and Science

John W Browne Travel Abroad Award

To be awarded to a student(s) taking part in the Summer Abroad Program who has completed at least one full-year of study (4 FCE???s) with a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrates financial need. The student/s should be a Canadian citizen/permanent resident and preference will be given to Woodsworth College students.
