Sydney George Harris Bursary
Awarded to an undergraduate student entering Third or Fourth Year in any program in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. It may be awarded two years in succession to the same student, but will usually be awarded at the beginning of the Third Year.

- Criteria
- The award will be made on the following basis: a) In addition to mental capacity, the student must show leadership ability, and give promise, through activities, of becoming a worthwhile influence in the affairs of the profession and the community. b) While attention is given to scholastic ability, as evidenced by academic standing, it is not the governing factor. The recipient must, however, stand in the top quarter of the class. c) Special consideration is given to financial need.
