The Angus Macmurchy Gold Medal

The Ann Yeoman (Dean Ann) Residence Award at new College

To be awarded to one or two students who have lived in New College residence for at least one year. Candidates must have demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to enhancing residence life at the College.

The Anne (Medres) Glass Memorial Scholarship in Yiddish

The Arthur M. Kruger Honours Scholarship

The Associates of The University of Toronto Awards for study of the United States

Awarded on the basis of financial need to undergraduate students enrolled in the third year of the American Studies major program for pursuit of research or other academic endeavour. Academic merit will also be considered.

The Audrey Taylor Award

To be awarded to a New College student in any faculty entering second, third or fourth year who exemplifies the spirit and dedication with which Audrey Taylor served the New College community. The recipient must be in good academic standing and have made a significant contribution to the extra-curricular life of the College. Participation in activities beyond the College should not be discounted, but emphasis should be given to the recipient's level of involvement in the College. Annual application period: March 1 to 31.

The B. Arthur Bensley Scholarship in Life Sciences

Awarded to an outstanding student in the Specialist or Major Program offered by the Department of Cell and Systems Biology based on performance in third year. The award may not be won by the same student more than once.

The Banker's Scholarship in Economics
