Scholarships

To encourage in a student of St. Michael's College a devoted appreciation of the ministry of the Roman Pontiff as Successor of St. Peter and Chief Bishop of Christ's Holy Catholic Church. High 80s average on admission; indication of St. Michael's College as choice of College in the Faculty of Arts & Science. Renewability is conditional on the recipient's (1) continuing to demonstrate financial need (2) maintaining a Sessional Grade Point Average of 3.5 (A- standing) on a standard course load of 5.0 degree credits in each fall-winter sessions, and(3) returning to Full time studies at the College in the following fall-winter sessions.

Awarded to an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered.

Awarded to the student with the highest average on entrance to the physical and mathematical sciences stream within the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Awarded to students of Victoria College experiencing financial difficulty. Preference given to those registered, or previously registered, in Vic One or the Commerce program, and continuing in the Social Sciences or Commerce at the University of Toronto.

Awarded to a mature student who has completed 15 FTE with at least a 3.0 CGPA. Resident of Ontario who is unable to access government sponsored student aid.

Awarded to a Victoria College student achieving excellence in the course of his or her studies in First Year.

Bequest of the late Samuel Joseph Granatstein (UC 1927), of the value of the annual income from the fund. To be awarded for general proficiency in first year. Eligible students are automatically considered.

Schulich Leader Scholarships are undergraduate scholarships for students intending to enroll in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) areas of study. Up to ten Schulich Leaders Scholarships are awarded at U of T each year. Awards valued at $100,000 (paid over 4 years at $25,000 per year) are awarded to five student registered in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. Awards valued at $80,000 (paid over 4 years at $20,000 per year) are awarded to five students in a science, technology or mathematics program of study. The Second Reuben Wells Leonard Fellowship, is to be awarded to a University College student for the purpose of graduate studies within or outside Canada

Awarded annually for the best essay written for any "VIC" course in the Renaissance Studies Program. Open to students of all colleges. (Not offered 2022.)
