Smith Family Scholarship in Economic Policy

Awarded to an outstanding 3rd year student in an Economics Major or Specialist Program in the Department of Economics who intends to focus his/her studies on economic policy and/or history. Eligible applicants for the award must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. The award is renewable in the fourth year provided the student remains enrolled in a Major or Specialist program with a focus on economic policy and/or history and they maintain a 3.0 GPA. Department committee will consider factors such as financial need, community contribution and outside activities.
