Scholarships

Owen B. Shime Bursary

To be awarded to a student entering the first year of the JD program who demonstrates financial need and who meets the OTSS conditions established by the Ontario government. The bursary is renewable for three years, provided that the student remains registered in the JD program and does not experience a substantial change in his or her financial circumstances.

Paolo Cini & William Leffler Awards

To provide funding for undergraduate students who identify as LGBTQ or who are pursuing studies with a focus on sexual diversity at the University of Toronto. The awards will be based on financial need and academic merit with a preference for Canadian residents (i.e. citizens, landed immigrants & refugees but not International students students). These awards will be made in consultation with the Sexual Diversity Studies Awards Committee. Awards will vary in number and value and will be open to students of other colleges and divisions of the University

Participation Award

Tuition fee waiver awards up to three students who have a minimum average of 78% at the end of the academic year in which the award is made and who make a significant volunteer contribution to the Victoria/Emmanuel College community. Value is based on the number of courses in which the student is registered in the session for which the award is made, and provides tuition waiver for the same number of courses in the session in which the student next registers.

Pat & Doug Robertson Toronto-Eglinton rotary Award for Family Medicine

To be awarded at convocation to an undergraduate medical student who will be pursuing a residency in Family Medicine, and best exemplifies the following criteria: 1. Demonstrates a caring nature and intuitive decision-making skills 2. Shows a strong commitment to generalist practice in a smaller community outside of the GTA 3. Has demonstrated financial need.

Pat & Doug Robertson Toronto-Eglinton Rotary Award for Nursing UTAPS
