Sara Friede-Miransky Memorial Bursary in Yiddish Studies

Awarded to a student in a Yiddish language or literature course on the basis of financial need. Academic merit will also be considered.

Sara Ginaite Scholarship in Holocaust Studies

Awarded to two undergraduate students each year based on academic performance in a Holocaust related course. While students in any program of study are eligible, those majoring or minoring in Jewish Studies will receive preference.

Sara Lillian Smith Memorial Bursary

Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Isadore Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Paul Sussman and the late Mr. Samuel Smith, of the value of the annual income of the fund, to be awarded to a student, preferably in the fourth year, who is studying English and is in need of financial assistance. Sarah Russell Bursary

Gift of Bob Rae (UC '69) and Arlene Perly Rae (UC '71) in honour of Mr. Rae's parents. To be awarded to University College students, financial need will be the primary criterion in selecting the recipients. Service to the community and academic merit may also be considered.
