Summer Research International students Experience Award

To be awarded to students successfully selected to do a summer research exchange program through the Centre of International students Experience. Successful candidates are selected based on merit, potential, future leadership and a strong interest in world-leading research. This is a merit-based award. The award amount is attached to a matrix of fixed amounts corresponding to an assessment of cost of flights to host institution, average cost of living and available partnership funding.

Sunflower Scholarship

Awarded to a student who is enrolled in a major, joint specialist, or specialist program in philosophy upon completion of second or third year. The award will be made on the basis of financial need and academic merit.

Sunil Kumar and Nita Singh Scholarship II

Awarded to a student who has completed Second or Third Year with overall A standing and who is enrolled in a Specialist or Major Program offered through the Division of the Environment. If no candidate meets these terms, the scholarship may be awarded to a student in a related field.

Sunil Kumar and Nita Singh Scholarship III

Awarded to a student who has completed Second or Third Year with overall A standing and who is enrolled in a Specialist or Major Program offered through the Division of the Environment. If no candidate meets these terms, the scholarship may be awarded to a student in a related field.

SuOn Academy Award

To be awarded to four students from the SuOn Academy. Preference will be given to students in their 3rd or 4th year of study in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering or a commerce program.

Supplementary J. S. McLean Scholarship

Admission

Gift of the late J.S. McLean. The awards have a value of $1000 each; the number is determined by the balance of the income from the fund; awarded for general proficiency. Eligible students are automatically considered.

Surati & Walter Deonandan Academic Award UTAPS

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) at the University of Toronto on the basis of financial need.

SUSAN IANNUCCI MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Established through the generosity of the friends and family of Susan Iannucci (UC '70) to recognize outstanding University College students in the Humanities who demonstrate financial need. Preference to a student in the Specialist program in English. One award for each of Second, Third and Fourth Year. Financial need will be the primary criterion in selecting recipients. Susan J Serena Scholarship

Awarded to one or more students in the Faculty of Arts and Science who are well-rounded and demonstrate admirable qualities such as community service or involvement, or participation in athletics and sports, in addition to maintaining an academic average of at least a B-.
