Scholarships

Scholarships are typically awarded based on academic or other achievements and do not require repayment, making them a valuable resource for students seeking financial support for their education.

Selene Wong Memorial Bursary

The Class of 9T5 has established a bursary in memory of their classmate, to be awarded to a Second Year Doctor of Pharmacy student based on financial need. The recipient will also have participated in social and athletic activities, served on class council or faculty committees, and made a meaningful contribution to the class spirit. Information on application procedures will be provided to Doctor of Pharmacy students via e-mail in late September.

Simeon Heman Janes Silver Medal

Awarded for distinguished A standing over the entire course of studies in any subject. Five Janes Medals may be awarded each year.

Student Housing and Residence Life Grant

The Student Housing and Residence Life (SHRL) Grants Committee will select students living in residence who have unmet financial needs as determined by the Committee.

Sutton Family Bursary

"Established by the Sutton Family, the award is a needs based bursary awarded annually to entering undergraduate students attending St. Michael's College who are registered in Arts and Science"

Taddle Creek Residence Life Award

To be awarded to outstanding Innis Residence students. Candidates must be in good standing in their Faculty, and they must demonstrate distinguished voluntary commitment to fostering and supporting community life in the Innis Residence. Financial need may be considered but is not a requirement. Candidates who have previously received a Taddle Creek Residence Life Award will be considered on the basis of achievements since receipt of the last award.

Teng Li Scholarship UTAPS

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to a Full time, undergraduate student at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to a string student.

The Chemical Institute of Canada Prizes

Awarded to a student completing Third Year of Chemical Engineering and who has the most marked improvement.

The Coxeter Scholarship in Mathematics

Current students

Awarded to either undergraduate or graduate students on admission to the University of Toronto or at the in-course level who demonstrate achievement in Mathematics. Financial need must be considered; academic merit will also be considered.
