Juanita Thompson, M. D. Memorial Award

To be awarded to a student/students in the fourth medical year to defray expenses of travelling to and maintaining himself/herself during the family practice elective. This elective should be with a family physician in a community distant from medical teaching centres approved by the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Preference will be given to students with financial need. Award applications will be available in August.
