To be awarded to an outstanding voice student in any degree or diploma program.
Irvin S. Naylor Scholarship in Field Biology
Awarded to students in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology participating in field courses (EEB403H, 405H, 407H, 410H). Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated financial need. Academic merit will also be considered
Irving (Itche) Himel Yiddish Award
Awarded to one undergraduate/graduate student each year to facilitate travel, tuition and/or accommodations for participation in the Naomi Prawer Kadar International Yiddish Summer Program at Tel Aviv University International students All awards will be awarded at the discretion of the Al and Malka Green Professor in Yiddish Studies, in consultation with the Director, Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies.
Irving and Florence Rother Bursary Fund
Need based award for New College students. Students must demonstrate financial need. Must also adhere to the conditions of OTSS. Students must complete a UofT Grant application on ACORN.
Irving Heward Cameron Memorial Scholarships in Surgery
a) To be awarded to the four students who have achieved the highest marks in Surgery of the fourth medical year. b) One or more scholarships for graduate study and/or research in Surgery, to be awarded on the recommendation of the Professor of Surgery, with the approval of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine
Irving J. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship
To be awarded to a physically handicapped student, enrolled on either a Full time or a part-time basis, who demonstrates superior academic achievement and financial need. Candidates must have completed at least five university credits, or the equivalent
Irwin Hilliard Scholarship
Awarded to outstanding, newly-admitted Victoria College students.
Irwin Singer Memorial Bursary
To be awarded to an upper year student on the basis of financial need. Preference is to be given to a student with a demonstrated interest in Securities Law, or if there is no candidate with such an interest, to a student with a demonstrated interest in corporate and commercial law more generally.
Isaak Orfanidis Achievement Award
This award was established by family, friends and members of the Class of 1992 to honour the memory of Isaak Orfanidis, an undergraduate dental student who died in an airplane crash the summer following his first year. The monetary award from the endowment is to be awarded to the most outstanding first year full time student based on academic achievement and extra-curricular activities in the Faculty. First awarded in 1990.
