Scholarships are typically awarded based on academic or other achievements and do not require repayment, making them a valuable resource for students seeking financial support for their education.

Susan McDonald Award

Awarded to Victoria College students who completed first year, but who have not yet graduated, for the purpose of travel to present an academic paper, related to their studies, at national or International students conferences. An application is required.

Susannah Biggs Scholarship

This scholarship was established through a bequest from Susannah Biggs, who graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree in 1964. Throughout her 39-year career, she was a practicing pharmacist in retail pharmacy serving her community both locally and throughout Metropolitan Toronto. The Susannah Biggs Scholarship is awarded to one student entering Year 4 of the Doctor of Pharmacy program who achieves a minimum Annual GPA of 3.30 each of the first three years of the program, and who achieves Honours standing in at least three of the four Medication Therapy Management courses. The recipient must also be eligible for financial assistance.

Susheela and Damodar Vakil Bursary UTAPS

This award is disbursed as part of the University of Toronto Financial Aid (UTAPS program). To be awarded to a student or students whose parents are deceased or who lack parental support and as a result require financial assistance in order to finance their education. Students who continue to demonstrate financial need may be granted assistance from this fund for the duration of their studies or for a maximum of four years.

Sutton Family Scholarship

Established by the Sutton Family, the award is merit-based scholarships awarded annually to entering undergraduate students attending St. Michael's College who are registered in Arts and Science.

Sydney and Florence Cooper Admission Scholarship

Awarded to a student (or students) entering first year of Civil Engineering on the basis of academic merit. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated leadership in the community and through extra-curricular activities.

Sydney C. Cooper Scholarship

One award will be made to a student admitted to first year, Civil Engineering on the basis of financial need. Academic achievement, demonstrated excellence in athletics and participation in extra-curricular activities will also be considered. One award will be made to a student proceeding to Fourth Year of Civil Engineering on the basis of financial need and who has achieved good academic standing in the work of the third year and has demonstrated, through summer employment and course selection, an interest in construction engineering.

Sydney George Harris Bursary

Current students
Ontario Deadline: Not available Full time
Awarded to an undergraduate student entering Third or Fourth Year in any program in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering. It may be awarded two years in succession to the same student, but will usually be awarded at the beginning of the Third Year.
