The Douglas Pimlott Awards

Awarded to one or more students enrolled in a program offered by the School of the Environment on the basis of financial need. In addition, academic merit combined with a demonstrated commitment to social involvement in environmental issues will be considered. In recognition of the history of undergraduate environmental issues at Innis College, preference will be given to Innis students if applicants are of equal merit. The Dr. Arnold W. and Edna M. Macpherson Memorial Scholarship

The Dr. Harry Jolley Bursary

The Dental Service Associates Volunteers of Mount Sinai Hospital have established this bursary in honour of Dr. Harry Jolley. It is awarded to a student with demonstrated financial need who has performed satisfactorily in the D.D.S. program to date. Preference will be given to a student who has shown a special interest in community service. First awarded in 1988.

The Dr. Jean Wasserman Wolfman Book Prize in Child Psychiatry

To be awarded to a student in the final year of the medical program who excels in the field of Child Psychiatry, with preference given to a student who most significantly investigates some aspect of Autism in children as an elective during the academic year.

The Dr. John P. Hubbard Sr. Scholarship

The Dr. Louis Kagan Memorial Award

To be awarded to a deserving student who, in the examination of the third year, attains standing satisfactory to the Council and who, in the opinion of the Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, shows special ability to pursue studies in that field.

The Dr. Louis R. Harnick Memorial Award

To be awarded at Convocation to a Fourth Year Medical student who has maintained a high academic standing through his/her Third and Fourth Years, who has shown a specific interest and aptitude in the field of Diagnostic Radiology, and who best exemplifies the personal standards of the late Dr. Harnick. The Interviewing Committee shall consider the following qualities: leadership, compassion, community service, service to the medical profession, and a high regard for the quality of life.

The Dr. Murray Shafran Scholarship

To be awarded annually, on the recommendation of the Undergraduate Awards Committee, to a final year student with high standing in internal medicine who demonstrates a particular interest in respiratory disease.
