Scholarships

Howard Andrews Memorial Scholarship in Geography
Awarded to a Full time UTM student registered in a major or specialist program in geography. Financial need and academic merit will be considered. The student must be studying social and political geography, with emphasis on social welfare and healthy cities.
Howard Ferguson Provincial Scholarship
Bequest of Mrs. Ella Ferguson in honour of her husband the Honourable Howard Ferguson, premier of the Province of Ontario 1923-30 (UC 1892). These scholarships are intended to recognize outstanding Ontario students applying from outside Ontario. Will be awarded only after needs of Howard Ferguson National and Provincial Scholarships are met. The scholarships are renewable provided students achieve an annual grade point average of at least 3.50 on a course load of 4 full-course equivalents (FCEs) from September to September. Eligible students are automatically considered.

Howard Pentland Award for Education in a Global Context
Awarded to Emmanuel students to study abroad. If this award is not given in any year for study abroad, then the award can be used for students achieving excellence during the course of their studies, with preference given to international students.
Howard Root Memorial Awar
Awarded to a Full time UTM student enrolled in the Functional French Minor at UTM, has the overall highest CGPA in the French Minor and has completed FSL205Y. Registered in Year III or Year IV.
Hubert J. Stitt Bursary
A gift of the partners of Baker & McKenzie to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of their Toronto office and to honour their colleague, Hubert J. Stitt. To be awarded to a J.D. student on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
Hugh Alexander Hoskin Scholarship
This prize was established in 1954, through the generosity of friends and associates of the late Hugh Alexander Hoskin. The award is made annually to the most outstanding student in clinical Oral Diagnosis. The value of the award is the annual income from an endowment. First awarded in 1955.
Hugh Barber Scholarship in Otolaryngology
To be awarded to a final year student in financial need, who has demonstrated excellence and interest in the area of Otolaryngology during the elective period.
Hugh Innis Strang Memorial Scholarship
Open to students from Goderich C.I in the following order of preference: a)entering the Faculty of Arts and Science from high school with a concentration in Arts subjects b) entering the Faculty of Arts and Science from high school without Arts concentration c) entering another Faculty of the University
