Hugh Rose Scholarship
Awarded to a student or students in the Department of Civil Engineering on the basis of academic performance in the Survey Camp course.
Hugh S. Irvine Award
This award was established by the Irvine family to honor the remarkable life of Hugh S. Irvine. In the spirit of Hugh???s perseverance and dedication to education and his career, this award is given to a student entering fourth year, who has excelled academically and has demonstrated financial need. First preference will be given to a student with a demonstrated interest in Nuclear Engineering. This interest can be demonstrated through, but not limited to, enrolment in the Nuclear Engineering Certificate or relevant courses. Second preference will be given to Mechanical Engineering students and third preference will be given to Chemical Engineering students
Hugh Smith Scholarship in Canadian History
On the recommendation of the History faculty at Erindale College, to be awarded to an outstanding UTM student in a Canadian History course.
Hugh Walton Peart Scholarship III
Awarded to the student who has completed Third Year with high overall A standing who is enrolled in the Specialist Program in History.
Human Biology Excellence Award
Awarded to meritorious students in the Human Biology Program or students taking Human Biology courses to recognize academic excellence, student leadership, excellence in undergraduate research, or community engagement
Human Rights Award
To be awarded to (a) Full time, undergraduate student(s) in any year of the J.D. program at the Faculty of Law on the basis of financial need. Preference will be given to students involved in the International Human Rights Program at the Faculty of Law.
Human Rights Summer Internship Fund
To be awarded to a Full time student (or students) enrolled in the JD program at the Faculty of Law with a demonstrated interest in international human rights. Awards will be made on the basis of academic excellence, and the quality of the application.
Humanities Excellence Admission Scholarship
To be awarded to students on admission on the basis of academic performance and demonstrated interest in and commitment to study in Humanities at the University of Toronto. Students must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Humanity First - Our Children - Our Future Award
The award is open to Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who are residents of Ontario. Students in third or fourth year will be considered on the basis of financial need, academic merit and an essay. Candidates must submit an essay, maximum 500 words, on ?How we can put humanity first?.
